SPIE relies on the results of its carbon balance by undertaking a series of actions to reduce its footprint.
On an individual scale
Raising employee awareness through training courses such as the Climat Fresk, the SPIE Climate Academy, introducing waste recycling, energy savings and optimizing travel through ecodriving (up to 20% reduction in CO2 emissions thanks to ecological driving).
In our subsidiaries
Solutions for carpooling, reduction of building energy consumption (a 42% reduction between 2019 and 2024 for SPIE Belgium) and the accelerated electrification of the entire fleet (35% of SPIE Belgium's fleet will be electrified by the end of 2024).
On the Group scale
The objective is a 25% reduction in emissions (direct and indirect) between 2019 and 2025. In addition, and in addition to emissions linked to the vehicle fleet and buildings, the Group is strongly committed to the use of bioenergy for specific applications and to the installation of low-CO2 equipment at the various customer sites.
